About Us

What we do

GSCPHN is a system of organizations and individuals that work together to identify and address public health challenges in the region. We are a network that understands the value of collaboration and partnership and we are committed to building a healthy community together.

Building Strong Partnerships

We bring people and organizations together to build strong partnerships that lead to positive changes.

Providing Training & Resources

We help organizations develop and implement sustainable evidence-based policies and programs for their constituents.

Advocacy & Allyship

We advocate for everyone who lives, works and plays in the Greater Sullivan County Region, across all walks of life.

Community leaders, educators, healthcare workers, government representatives, business owners, parents, and students. We are a region that understands the value of collaboration and partnership. We are the Greater Sullivan County Public Health Network and we are committed to building a healthy community together.

Priority Areas

The GSCPHN focuses on work that positively impacts the community that we live in. The GSCPHN currently holds grants that support initiatives around these four priority areas.

Substance Misuse Prevention, Treatment, Recovery, and Harm Reduction

The GSCPHN partners with community members and professionals working together to reduce harms from alcohol and other drugs through education, policies, practices and programs related to prevention, intervention, treatment and recovery.

Mental Health

We believe that mental health support is essential to the health and safety of our community. We prioritize mental health through stigma-reducing efforts, education, training, support, and information sharing.

LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC Support

Inclusion and support for our marginalized population within our community is essential. Our team wants to make sure that those in the LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC communities feel welcome, supported, and loved.

Emergency Preparedness

The GSCPHN increases community engagement in public health emergency activities and strengthens the capacity to respond to public health emergencies in a timely manner. Emergency preparedness requires participation from government, individuals and communities, and is done through educational efforts, vaccinations, planning tools, and more.
