Deryn is dedicated to promoting substance misuse prevention, education, resources, and support in the Greater Sullivan County area. Prior to her role with Dartmouth Health, she worked with community partners across Massachusetts and New Hampshire to promote cancer prevention initiatives, advocacy efforts, fundraising for cancer research, and community engagement. She holds a B.S. in Business Management, with minors in Public Health and Health Management and Policy from the University of New Hampshire. Deryn also holds a Master of Public Health Degree from Southern New Hampshire University, and is a Certified Prevention Specialist.
Sara joined the Greater Sullivan Public Health Network in 2025, and provides emergency preparedness training and support to community members and organizations in Greater Sullivan County. In her role, she focuses on bringing emergency preparedness knowledge into the community and maintains a variety of emergency plans to support a coordinated and effective emergency response if needed. Prior to her role at Dartmouth Health, Sara worked as an Emergency Medical Technician in a variety of settings including, on an ambulance, with the NYS DEC, and in an industrial copper factory. She holds a Bachelors in Emergency Preparedness, Homeland Security, and Cybersecurity from SUNY University at Albany.
Taralyn joined the Greater Sullivan County Public Health Network in 2021. Public health and public health awareness are a few of her passions. Currently in her role at Dartmouth Health she supports the Food is Medicine Programs across the Dartmouth Health system. Prior to this role, she was with New London Hospital as the Wellness & Population health coordinator. Taralyn obtained her bachelors in Health Care Studies from Daemen College, later returning to her alma mater for her Masters in Public Health.
Hanna joined the Greater Sullivan County Public Health Network in 2022, and primarily focuses on youth engagement and marginalized populations between Greater Sullivan County and the Upper Valley. In her role, she works with providing resources and support to schools related to substance misuse. Prior to her role at Dartmouth Health, Hanna worked with at-risk youth in the behavioral health field. She holds a B.A in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Barbara Farnsworth is the Director of Community Health Improvement at Dartmouth Health. Barbara manages several programs including Substance Misuse Prevention, Continuum of Care, Drug Free Communities and Emergency Preparedness through the Regional Public Health Networks in the Greater Sullivan County and Upper Valley regions. In addition, Barbara serves on the board of the Hartford Community Coalition, The Good Neighbor Health Clinic and Everybody Wins VT!
